A winter wedding color palette easily gravitates toward seasonal hues. Winter and Christmas are often synonymous when it comes to themes, aesthetics and planning when tying the knot in the chilly months. Fortunately for all the winter brides out there, a winter color palette goes far beyond the illustrious red and green.  Your wedding colors will determine many things when it comes to planning; wedding and reception decor, bridesmaid dresses and oftentimes establishes your overall theme.The key thing to remember is to pick a color scheme that speaks to you but will pop against the winter backdrop and cold weather.

These colors are timeless and elegant and a step above basic. Red and Gray 

Red is a go to for winter weddings, but may we suggest pairing it with soft and subtle grays to switch it up a bit.  It is common to marry red and green at any time in December and even January, but detach red from the holiday by incorporating a diverse hue. We love the mix of seasonal and modern and subtle and drastic in a red and gray combo.  This color palette gives a regal feel and would work perfectly in a castle setting against a snowy backdrop.  Just imagine how chic that red will look. 

There is something so magical about an off season wedding, and the wonderful thing about winter wonderland inspired nuptials is that the color palettes are endless. While we adore the holly jolly feel of red and green, it is nice to know you are not limited to them.
