THE GRAND FINALE

Spring is the prime-time blooming season, some of the prettiest petals crop up during the spring season and it makes for exquisite bouquets, centerpieces and floral arches.  Springtime is an ideal time of the year to get married;  flowers are plentiful, colors palettes are endless and there is this rejuvenating sense of renewal as days carry on longer and the weather warms up.  If you are tying the knot in the spring, the issue may not be finding the perfect flower, but rather narrowing down the one you love amongst some of the most beautiful blooms of the year.

Peonies

Sometimes a bundle of peonies is all you need.  This quintessential wedding flower can be displayed alone or as an accent flower depending on your budget and taste.  Peonies are in abundance during early spring into late June, and their soft delicate petals are the perfect touch to a wedding day filled with whimsy and magic.  These fluffy blooms are available in many hues, making it the perfect accent to your spring wedding.

Daffodils

One of the first to bloom in the spring season, daffodils symbolize new beginnings (could anything be more fitting?).  Available in white and yellow, these blossoms give off sunny vibes and they are perfect on their own or as an accent with other florals. While daffodils may give off a rustic feel, pairing them with roses, ranunculus and white orchids give you a much more sophisticated and glamorous vibe.  Planners Tip: While we adore a daffodil for a spring wedding, superstitions arise about a boutonniere with only one single daffodil, so to play it safe give the men in your wedding party two.

Anemones

Anemones typically bloom in the springtime, and with their dainty petals and various color combinations, they are a very unique touch to a wedding bouquet.  A bouquet of anemones may not be a possibility because of their short, spiral-like stems but they add just the right amount of distinction to a bouquet adorned with tulips, ranunculus and poppies. These stunning blooms come in a variety of colors ranging from stark white to vibrant reds, purples and  pinks.  Their dark, contrasting center creates a striking visual impact that is sure to get your guest’s attention.

Magnolias

Magnolias are known to symbolize beauty, strength and dignity..  Ask a  southerner about magnolias and they will tell you they are the epitome of grace and elegance.  Just as beautiful as the magnolia petals are the magnolia leaves. Magnolia leaves with or without the magnolia flower are a beautiful accent to your bouquet, used as a garland or made into a wreath.  Whether you carry a single stemmed magnolia, a bunch of them or use them as just an accent flower, you will be so happy with the chic and cozy contrast that this southern belle provides.

Tulips

The tulip signifies perfect love, and this versatile blossom could not be more perfect for a spring wedding.  When we think of spring we often think of tulips, and they come in such a wide color palette that is an easy bloom to work with.  White tulips symbolize  timeless beauty and classic elegance, while more vibrant tulips can embrace a modern aesthetic.  Pastel colored tulips (which scream spring) are fresh and joyful and encompass the true meaning of springtime.  Again, tulips are a perfect bloom to carry alone or as an accent flower in a bouquet of other spring inspired florals.

When you think of spring, naturally you think of flowers.  Spring is a beautiful time of year to get married, but what makes it even more special is the abundance of flowers you can choose from.  Flowers are such an important part of your wedding day, so bask in the comfort that your options are endless.
