DC has so many unprecedented venues with some immersed in culture, others in history and the rest draped in its classic beauty.  While the venues are all very different, they are all somehow quintessentially DC. It wasn’t easy but we managed to narrow it down to three of our favorites. 

National Museum of Women in the Arts

This venue offers marble interiors and brilliant chandeliers and can accommodate up to an astounding 450 guests…but no fear if you are looking for something small and intimate, NMWA also offers an elegant space for smaller scale affairs. This magnificent location is one of our favorites not only because of its splendor but also because of how it celebrates women in art, and we are all for honoring women’s work and strengths.

With the most incredible waterfront views in DC and just steps from the center of all things political, the Wharf is an exquisite venue to tie the knot during the spring.  With the vibrant cherry blossoms in bloom and the warm daytime breeze, the spring season is an ideal time to get married in DC.

The Eaton

The Eaton in downtown DC is a unique and modern choice for a couple that is looking for an edgier vibe for their wedding. While this space may be for the bolder, quirkier type, we can’t help but love that this site highlights and supports the LGBTQ and minority communities.  The Eaton offers a blank canvas for couples who wish to make it their own with access to the city allowing guests the opportunity to explore.

This DC venue is an elegant hotel that has a history as a bus terminal and printing house and takes inspiration from many political and social movements that started in the city.  This is a one of a kind location that holds so much of DC’s past, yet has the ability to create real-time memories for you and your guests.  The Eaton boasts a delicious and eclectic menu, Michelin rated, with many plant based options, unique to the traditional wedding fare. Foodies unite, this is definitely one to remember.  This exquisite venue can host up to 400 guests but can also offer an intimate moment for smaller events.
