THE GRAND FINALE

Sometimes a bachelorette party can get a bad wrap and while those less than tasteful customs have been around for quite some time, it is true that they are not for everyone. So in honor of our very own, luxurious bachelorette…we are here to offer up some more “upscale” ideas  to celebrate those last few moments of single life.

Sure, a night of clubbing on the Las Vegas strip, or trading beads in New Orleans are tried and true options, but sometimes we are in need of a more laid back and luxurious way to celebrate the bride. So let’s think out-of-the-box and give our bride-to-be a night (or weekend) she will never forget and one totally strays from the ordinary to boot. Read on for some upscale inspiration.

One Last Sail Before the Veil

If you live near the water or are planning to jet set somewhere warm to celebrate the bride to be, we suggest chartering a boat (any size you desire) and living a life of luxury for a day or two. Bring food, drinks, music and your swimsuits and make a party of it.  Spend some time out on the water, soaking up the sun.

De-Stress With a Spa Day

If low-key wellness is your thing there are many destination spas that offer a relaxing spa weekend for the bride to be.  Put aside the dancing and boozing for some R&R before your wedding day.  Mud masks, massages and manicures are just the beginning.  Make sure to work in a visit to the sauna, a yummy brunch and a lot of healthy bonding with your VIP’s.

Have a Classy Tea Party

If the bride-to-be likes fancy dresses and fine china, a tea party is just what she needs.  Think historic hotels like The Plaza hotel or jet set to England for a stay at The Berkley with finger foods inspired by runway fashion designers.  Gather up your favorite ladies, sip from tiny teacups and nibble on some delectable scones and finger sandwiches. BONUS: Most afternoon teas include champagne so be sure to toast the bride while celebrating.

Zen Out With a Yoga Retreat

A yoga retreat is the perfect way to zen out moments before your wedding day. Channeling peace, love and light to combat your wedding stress is a perfect way to celebrate your final days of being a single woman.  If you are a yogi at heart, you know there are so many different ways to reach your chakra, so make sure to try out different asanas and classes to get the most out of your yoga retreat.  Eat healthy, stay hydrated and ward off any “duhkha” for the big day.

Host a Luxe Sleepover

Once upon a time an invite to a slumber party was on par with winning the lottery.  The days of gossip, snacks, face masks and scary movies can be revamped to a level of luxury that our teen selves could have never imagined.  Book a luxurious suite at your favorite hotel, hire a glam squad, purchase some lavish (and matching) pajamas and turn up the tunes from your teenage years.  Incorporating some of your favorites like scary stories, playing games and taking “Cosmo” quizzes are all up for grabs when it comes to slumber parties.

Rent a Home

Renting an AirBnB for the weekend is the ultimate way to spend your final days as a single lady.  Remember when we thought that living together with our besties was the end all! Now you can get a taste of that.  Book a house with a pool, hire a private chef, maybe have an astrologer come by and read your palms or work some tarot card magic and spend time with you VIPS relaxing before your wedding day.  Whether it is a staycation or you hop on a plane and go somewhere warm, the time spent together will be just what you need before your big day.

A bachelorette party is a right of passage, a night for the bride to celebrate and to be celebrated…the last hurrah.  Over the years bachelorette parties have evolved from a night out to a multi day affair, but no matter the length of your event the most significant aspect is the fun factor.  A moment with the ladies who have been by your side through all of the ups and downs, the good experiences and the bad. So celebrate lady and make sure to do it with style!
