Meet Jazmin

Well hello there!  I’m Jazmin, the Owner of Anyvent and the woman behind the madness.  I started Anyvent 5 years ago after following my heart (well... my boyfriend at the time, and now husband) to Charlottesville, Virginia. After years of planning luxury events for various property management companies in New York City, I decided it was time to take my passion for planning events to the next level and, alas, Anyvent was born!  Since then, I have dedicated myself to creating a fun, unique, and special experience for each and every one of my clients.

I'm now lucky to call Washington, D.C. home and have been fortunate enough to build an amazing Charlottesville and DC/Maryland/NoVa based team to keep the dream alive. When I'm not out and about trying to work wedding magic for one my couples, you can usually find me on my couch binge watching anything related to murder mysteries with my husband, brunching with friends, or travelling the world with anyone I can convince to come with me!

I absolutely love what I do, and consider myself extremely lucky to get to know so many wonderful people as I help them plan some of the most special occasions of their lives.

Cheers to you saying "I do". I hope that we get the opportunity to plan together!

Meet Shannon

Shannon was born and raised in Vienna, Virginia but took some time to check out the world by getting her undergraduate degree in Ohio, and her Master's in France. She returned back home not quite sure what her next move would be until she met Jazmin and Team Anyvent! Shannon enthusiastically joined the team, absorbing as much about the wedding world as she could. She loves helping transform an ordinary day into the spectacular anniversary that Anyvent's couples will look back on for years to come. Being able to help create smiles and love-filled memories all while making sure the day is free of worries has become a huge source of pride for Shannon, and she's ecstatic to work with a wonderful team that always makes that their priority!

Meet Dionna

Dee was raised in Charlottesville, Virginia by way of New Jersey! She attended Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. While living in Richmond, she began working in the wedding industry and fell in love with everything about it, so it only made sense that when she returned home to Charlottesville that she dove head first into wedding planning.  She’s been creating wedding magic with Team Anyvent ever since! She says that the thing that attracts her most to weddings specifically is the fact that she loves love. When she is working with clients on their big day, she says that she can always feel their excitement, optimism and contentment, which reminds her that love is a universal language. Likewise, she knows that it is typical for clients to feel nervous on their wedding day, but thoroughly enjoys contributing to their sense of ease when they realize they are in good hands. Her favorite part of working with each client is that they are all uniquely different, no wedding is ever the same, and she loves the authenticity of each event and love story as she gets assist each couple with turning their vision into reality.
